Requirements
- Have a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or an equivalent level of work experience related to the job responsibilities.
- Have prior training in use of Six Sigma methodology and tools. Prior Black Belt and/or Green Belt training is preferred.
- Have project management skills, team leadership skills, and good communication skills.
- Have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations.
- Have the ability to learn, do statistical analysis, and have basic computer skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
Responsibilities
- Leading cross-functional teams to execute projects that drive improvement in product quality using the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process rigor.
- Analyzing data and applying problem solving methodologies to define solutions to issues that are moderately complex to complex in nature.
- Leading and managing Six Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements. Portfolios may include a broad variety of projects targeted not only a quality improvements, but also at cost reduction, assurance of supply resolution, regulatory compliance, and other general projects related to support of current production machines.
- Providing technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development and implementation of Six Sigma projects.
- Employing Six Sigma methodology into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
