Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing learning interventions or behavior change efforts, including project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to work with senior leaders to define learning needs
  • Understanding of adult development and behavior change
  • Ability to innovate and think creatively about learning solutions, technology, and adoption
  • Experience managing/implementing a learning technology ecosystem to include AI other non-traditional technologies
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of our industry, market trends, and business priorities to ensure development/training initiatives are relevant and impactful.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
  • Lead the design and implementation of key programs, including new employee experience, leadership learning paths, and DEIA integrations into L&D offerings.
  • Define, implement, and report on metrics that are meaningful to business leaders.
  • Work seamlessly across various departments, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure talent initiatives are integrated and aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Establish learning standards and governance to improve consistency and quality across Blue Origin’s learning teams.
  • Act as a change agent to drive individual and team behavior changes for business growth and goal achievement.
  • Support Talent Management in building a diverse pipeline of talent from early career to senior executive levels.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning & development, bringing innovative and practical solutions to our organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience in building and streamlining learning infrastructure, governance, and teams
  • Working understanding of learning management systems
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding and interpreting data
  • Expertise in Change Management
