Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional video production experience
  • Proven experience in video production, editing and motion graphics. Portfolio required for consideration.
  • Experienced with shooting, editing and publishing video.
  • Expert level proficiency with animation tools, effects, and workflows in After Effects. Skilled in Premiere Pro, Adobe CS, Media Encoder, and Audition.
  • Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Robust design skills and understanding of color theory, typography, layout and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to successfully use/operate timecode devices, stabilization devices, and switch media during shoot without compromising footage during intake.
  • Strong knowledge of all camera and photography principles, including but not limited to media codecs, frame rates, shutter speed/angle, white balance, and camera operations.
  • Clear POV and direction on concepts and creative, while remaining flexible and thoughtful with feedback and revisions.
  • Ability to manage a set, including directing high level executives, talent and full crew management.
  • Ability to carry at least 25 pounds of equipment to and from locations.
  • Demonstrates discretion in assigned projects and exhibits professional acumen in every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead video projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality and consistent results.
  • Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboarding tailored for various platforms and audiences.
  • Direct and oversee video shoots, including camera operation, lighting, audio, and crew management.
  • Film dynamic content using range of equipment, including phones, Go Pros, cameras, and production lighting and audio.
  • Perform post-production editing, color grading, and video enhancements.
  • Conceptualize and design engaging 2D/3D motion graphics using industry standard software like Adobe After Effects.
  • Create animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Maintain brand consistency for content series, campaigns or branded content, applying color palettes, typography and design guidelines to motion graphics.
  • Integrate motion graphics into videos, ensuring smooth transitions, animations and compelling visual effects in alignment with project goals.
  • Partner with design and video team to establish and refine motion graphics best practices that troubleshoot for challenges and allow for better collaboration, efficiency and delivery.
  • Work closely with creative, design, digital integration, and production planning teams to align visuals with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project scope, provide updates, and deliver within deadlines.
  • Output projects and assets to their appropriate format; logging and tagging content appropriately, and archive to its proper destination.
  • Manage equipment preparation, media organization, and content archiving processes.
  • Track and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine content and iterate designs.
  • Stays abreast and puts into action various platform trends, including, but not limited to, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and live events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D animation tools (e.g., Cinema 4D).
  • Familiarity with motion tracking, rotoscoping, and advanced animation techniques.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organization.

  • Knowledge and understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Broad understanding of the role of social media in society today and its application to business.
