Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in an operations role
  • Independent, self-starter, curious and thrives on learning new content
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills
  • Professional maturity to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Work with teams to on key tech operational metrics to understand trends and progress on goals.
  • Lead operational projects for the portfolio based on the current year priorities.
  • Plan, prep and facilitate periodic strategic roadmap sessions.
  • Assist in strategy planning by providing data, insights and alignment of the key components of the orgs direction.
  • Work with teams to define and measure the financial and operational health of portfolio(s).
  • Provide visibility and insight to the financial and operational health of the portfolio, transparency to progress against goals and scenario planning to modify tactics to meet goals.
  • Gather industry insights to recommend and implement improvements to support running the business.
  • Facilitate routines to drive alignment and provide coaching and support to stakeholders on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Prepare materials and presentations for leadership including all team emails, team newsletters and all team huddles.
  • Partner with teams to execute all team events or team activities.
  • Establish, maintain, improve, and leverage best practices and tools that enable the team to achieve desired outcomes and to ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Partner with the Finance team to ensure teams are prepared for corporate financial reviews and adhering to the corporate financial processes.
  • Manage relationships and collaborate with our extended team partners across Target (e.g. influence upward as well as across the organization).
  • Partner with communication team(s) to support communication and collaboration tools (e.g. intranet sites, SharePoint, communities).
  • Provide process consultancy & monitor process compliance.
  • Partner with teammates to identify and implement efficiencies across officer teams.
  • Develop tools to analyze priorities and recommend decisions against the value delivered by the technology solutions offered by current and future suppliers.
  • Evolve our supplier management practices – identifying new methods and engagement strategies that allow Target tech to continue to elevate our relationships and use of suppliers across the technology ecosystem.
