Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft systems integration or related engineering roles
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, flight control systems, and propulsion
  • Proficiency in engineering analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or similar)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of aircraft systems, including avionics, propulsion, and structural components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to develop integration strategies and resolve technical challenges
  • Conduct system-level analysis and simulations to validate integration performance and identify potential issues early in the development process
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans, ensuring thorough verification and validation of integrated systems
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders, including management and regulatory authorities
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to aircraft systems integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in aircraft integration, with a focus on commercial or military aircraft
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and certification processes (e.g., FAA, EASA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
