Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS or equivalent experience) in healthcare, computer science, IT or other relevant fields, or a minimum 5 years in a sales engineer, implementation engineer, system administrator, architect, or project management role preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with clinical technology systems that support patient care and patient safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales partners to define scope of solution that aligns with Customer needs and expectations of Baxter Care Communications portfolio
- Partner with key internal partners to deliver first pass yield of Nurse Call Solution Designs and Quotes
- Conduct onsite facility walkthroughs to validate in scope clinical and ancillary departments to facility provided drawings
- Review proposed solution design with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy and breadth of scope
- Foster positive relationships with internal partners during the process of developing Statements of Work, Quotes, Change Order, Concessions from inception to closure
- Develop and maintain Statement of Work language to support project initiative(s)
- Provide supporting deal documentation to Order Management, Service Delivery Teams, etc.
- Assist with internal and external customer communication, education, and presentations
- With an attitude of continuous improvement, identify, support, and promote opportunities to improve Solution Design & Quoting process(es) that supports internal and external expectations while not compromising on quality
- Other duties, as assigned
- 50% Travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with and ability to read and understand complete construction drawings, including architectural, structural, FEE, IT and MEP scope
- Experience with a general contractor, electrical contractor or low-voltage contractor
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage workload accordingly through prioritization, possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of IT network, servers, and infrastructure
- Experience estimating multiple scopes, with the capability of building conceptual estimates.
- 3 years of progressive experience in AutoCAD
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
