Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quality experience in a powder metal or manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and auditing practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 audits, including internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Maintain and improve quality management systems to ensure ongoing compliance with IATF requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality programs, procedures, and documentation
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities
- Support production teams with quality-related issues and training
- Review and analyze data from inspections, audits, and testing to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service to resolve quality concerns
- Maintain calibration and inspection equipment records
- Duties assigned as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 preferred
