Requirements

  • Extensive engineering experience, 6-10 years, in quality assurance, with an emphasis on front-end and back-APIs and infrastructure, within all software development life cycle environments.
  • Linux/Unix system programming and opensource frameworks experience (e.g., gcc/C). Object-oriented programming experience (e.g., C++, Java, etc.). Code reviews and analyzers. Secure network protocol and tools experience (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP(S), IPv4, Wireshark, etc.). Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
  • Experience with CI/CD and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlabs, etc.)
  • API Testing experience using tools like Postman or SAP UI
  • Experience with automation testing and frameworks (e.g., playwright, Selenium, etc.).
  • Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., svn, git, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux and with Linux-based test applications and utilities (e.g., curl, netcat, etc.)
  • Experience with secure network protocol experience and web architectural styles (e.g., TLS, openssl, REST, etc.)
  • Experience with web applications servers and containers (e.g., Tomcat, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with database technologies and scripting (e.g., relational, MongoDB, python, javascript, etc.)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing
  • Proven work experience in software development and Team Management.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Work with the US-based leadership to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Automate Regression Test Cases.
  • Team management.
