Requirements
- US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a CJIS background check process and other background checks to comply with customers contracts.
- Complete basic safety and security training to meet the customer requirements.
- The Preferred candidate holding one or more of the following industry certifications will be a plus: CCNA/CCVP/CCIE Voice
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- 8+ years of related sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement UC solutions to meet business requirements and align with the organization’s technology strategy.
- Perform network assessments and provide recommendations for improving UC performance and reliability.
- Configure and manage UC devices, such as IP phones, video conferencing systems, and collaboration endpoints.
- Design and implement a E911 solution using either Intrado or Redsky E911 products and services.
- Manage data migration process, ensuring accurate transfer of user data, call logs, and voicemail.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect UC solutions from threats such as malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
- Stay current with new UC technologies and industry trends.
- Lead project initiatives and drive customer engagements to completion as the sole consulting resource.
- Self-manage tasks and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Create detailed migration plans outlining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and rollback procedures.
- Identify potential migration challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot end-to-end business-critical issues, including network services, integrated video and audio conferences, and voice systems (from SBC to endpoint).
- Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and ensure optimal UC performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain UC documentation, such as network diagrams, device configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Establish and promote best practices for UC deployment and maintenance.
- Work effectively in a team environment with diverse and multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to integrate UC solutions with other systems, such as Active Directory, Exchange, and various enterprise technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of UC technologies: At least 10 years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing Microsoft Unified Communication solutions (MS Teams, Skype for Business, Lync, OCS), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Zoom Phone, etc.
- Session Border Controller (SBC) configuration and troubleshooting experience including Oracle, Audiocode, Cisco CUBE, Mitel, etc.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, including routing protocols, firewalls, and network security concepts.
- Expertise in troubleshooting end-to-end UC issues, including network services, video/audio conferencing, and voice systems.
- Hands-on experience with voice troubleshooting, including SBC (Session Border Controller) to endpoint.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data migration projects, including data cleansing and transformation.
- Experience in planning, executing, and monitoring complex migration projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
