Requirements
- Applicants must have a HS diploma or equivalent.
- A strong commitment to safety, working as a team, and operational excellence
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within Quality Assurance in a processing environment.
- Extremely organized with demonstrated skills administering quality and technical programs, including being able to establish and maintain a plant filing system and control of engineering documents.
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Programs including SQF & HACCP
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor the processes to produce CO2, which includes operating and controlling furnaces, compressors, DCS monitoring systems, rotating equipment, catalyst reactors, water treatment systems, and valves.
- Troubleshoot, respond to operating conditions, respond to customer order rates, and process optimization.
- Complete operator rounds, execute minor preventative maintenance, and support mechanical and instrumentation maintenance and projects.
- Permit work in the field and monitor contract partners.
- Participate in Process Safety and Personnel Safety programs and implement site policies and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 year technical degree preferred and/or military or technical experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
- 2-years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment with chemical processing or petrochemical preferred.
- An associates degree in Process Technology or Engineering is advantageous and may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Industrial plant operations experience is a plus.
