Requirements
- An active member of the Local 68 Union
- 5+ years of building engineering including a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Black Seal Boiler and Blue Seal Refrigeration licenses
- CFC Universal license
- Seeking an overnight shift – this shift is 11PM-7AM.
Responsibilities
- Manage work efficiently to minimize disruptions to building services
- Oversee preventative maintenance program, including scheduling and task delegation
- Order parts, maintain inventory, and handle equipment installations
- Train and supervise staff to improve their skills and professionalism
- Teach proper tool use, safety procedures, and basic maintenance techniques
- Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace
- Plan and manage budget, including recommending repairs for annual budgeting
- Ensure adequate inventory of tools and supplies through regular checks and orders
- Develop relationships with suppliers and manage purchase order requests
- Perform additional duties as needed to support overall facility operations
