Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of production control experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of production control experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Optimize inventory and process improvements.
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to hold external suppliers/customers accountable and influence their behavior.
- Proven knowledge of LEAN principles and ability to lead initiatives.
- Experience coordinating several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
