Requirements
- Has high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Supervisory experience in a kitchen/stewarding
Responsibilities
- Remove washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use, return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets; remove trash, wipe down shelf and counter; clean floor, remove items which do not belong and place in correct area
- Receive soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, sort items according to size and likeness
- Change dishwasher machine water and filter, refill as specified to ensure wares are properly cleaned
- Maintain cleanliness and working condition of garbage disposal
- Transport garbage container from kitchen and work area to dumpster; empty and clean
