Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in telephony and network environments.
  • Ability to manage and optimize call routing, voicemail, and other voice-related features.
  • Experience with networking protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, H323) and familiarity with telephony hardware.
  • Solid understanding of network security, performance optimization, and capacity planning for voice systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Avaya Session Manager, Communication Manager, and SBC solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing telephony infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage the transition from an on-premises environment to Cloud Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) using selected technologies.
  • Lead the integration of third-party systems with CCaaS solutions via APIs.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop and deliver scalable voice solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for Telephony systems, including H323, SIP, VOIP protocols.
  • Ensure the Avaya infrastructure integrates smoothly with enterprise telephony networks, including SBCs and call routing systems.
  • Configure and maintain advanced voice features and services (e.g., call routing, voicemail, unified messaging, call recordings).
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues within the Avaya telephony ecosystem, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.
  • Provide expert-level support for Session Manager, Communication Manager, and other Avaya systems, addressing performance, security, and availability concerns.
  • Manage and execute configuration changes, including call routing, user provisioning, and call center features.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architectures, and changes.
