Requirements
- 8-10 years of applicable project management and / or consulting experience in healthcare.
- Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement.
- Prior experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through visualization to present complex information in a way that effectively engages and influences.
- Excellent executive presence and comfortability influencing colleagues and decision makers at various levels of leadership.
- Health economic, actuarial, or financial modeling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Supports new market implementation across multiple functions and initiatives including patient engagement, clinical operations, workforce planning, clinical documentation and quality, shared services, and third-party arrangements.
- Coordinates with program leaders to align annual launch calendars, initiative deployment schedules, key milestones, and owners.
- Identifies people, process, and technology risks, effectively driving resolution commensurate with priority, impact, and urgency.
- Prepares routine and ad-hoc status reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensures all projects administered follow best practices and standard approaches to project management.
- Manages all aspects of leading a team: identifying needs, preparing job descriptions, screening and interviewing candidates, onboarding / offboarding, providing guidance, support, and coaching, assigning tasks and responsibilities, evaluating performance, and mentoring.
- Collaborates on special projects including early-stage business cases for new initiatives, identifying and evaluating Enterprise assets for deployment, and growth planning.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Subject matter expertise in value-based care within Medicare Advantage populations.
