Requirements

  • 8-10 years of applicable project management and / or consulting experience in healthcare.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Prior experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through visualization to present complex information in a way that effectively engages and influences.
  • Excellent executive presence and comfortability influencing colleagues and decision makers at various levels of leadership.
  • Health economic, actuarial, or financial modeling skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports new market implementation across multiple functions and initiatives including patient engagement, clinical operations, workforce planning, clinical documentation and quality, shared services, and third-party arrangements.
  • Coordinates with program leaders to align annual launch calendars, initiative deployment schedules, key milestones, and owners.
  • Identifies people, process, and technology risks, effectively driving resolution commensurate with priority, impact, and urgency.
  • Prepares routine and ad-hoc status reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures all projects administered follow best practices and standard approaches to project management.
  • Manages all aspects of leading a team: identifying needs, preparing job descriptions, screening and interviewing candidates, onboarding / offboarding, providing guidance, support, and coaching, assigning tasks and responsibilities, evaluating performance, and mentoring.
  • Collaborates on special projects including early-stage business cases for new initiatives, identifying and evaluating Enterprise assets for deployment, and growth planning.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise in value-based care within Medicare Advantage populations.
