Requirements
- Masters or PhD Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in LC/MS application development and customer support with a proven track record of technical knowledge and business understanding.
- Extensive laboratory experience in biologics characterization.
- An established record of expertise in Mass Spectrometry products, markets, and customer workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise in operating LC/HRAM and LC-Triple quadrupole instruments and knowledge of the associated software suite.
- Demonstrated understanding of customer workflow and applications for the Biopharma market is essential.
- Demonstrated flexibility as a team player and a proactive approach to performing successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams to define application development scope, execute applications, and communicate the value of application solutions to field organizations and customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers and pivotal customers to increase organizational understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Monitor industry trends from a technical perspective and identify gaps between critical customer needs and our product offerings.
- Develop new workflow solution products that meet the customers’ needs and alleviate pain points.
- Support the LC/MS business by providing support to Agilent personnel and customers through training, presentations, and road shows.
