Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college.
- 6-10 years of experience in Field Sales, Corporate Sales or Sales leadership, preferably in the Upstream Chemicals segment.
- 2+ years of experience with securing and defending large oilfield services contracts.
- 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or Industrial Process.
- Proven track record of success in managing high-performing sales teams and driving sales growth.
- 2+ years in a people leader role.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet business objectives
- Identify market opportunities, threats, and trends
- Personally leading large bid and tender opportunities with Supermajor and IOCs
- Lead, manage and coach a team of 7+ sales professionals to achieve sales goals
- Conduct performance evaluations and talent management activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and market dynamics
- Attend conferences, seminars, and trade shows to network and stay connected with industry professionals
- Share knowledge and insights with the sales team to improve sales performance
- Oversee sales operations, including sales planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
