Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Field Sales, Corporate Sales or Sales leadership, preferably in the Upstream Chemicals segment.
  • 2+ years of experience with securing and defending large oilfield services contracts.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or Industrial Process.
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-performing sales teams and driving sales growth.
  • 2+ years in a people leader role.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Identify market opportunities, threats, and trends
  • Personally leading large bid and tender opportunities with Supermajor and IOCs
  • Lead, manage and coach a team of 7+ sales professionals to achieve sales goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations and talent management activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and market dynamics
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and trade shows to network and stay connected with industry professionals
  • Share knowledge and insights with the sales team to improve sales performance
  • Oversee sales operations, including sales planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
