Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Team player with ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of people.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Availability as needed to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to managers of bargaining unit employees in interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Participate in the grievance administration process ensuring timely response and follow through.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation as needed.
- Participate in full cycle recruitment process of exempt and non-exempt positions including sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
- Participate and assist in driving employee engagement efforts.
- Attend investigatory meetings when appropriate.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state and local law and corporate policies including maintaining files, records and postings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
- Workday and/or Dayforce experience.
- Experience working in a union environment.
