Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4-6 years in human resources, preferably, employee relations, or closely related field.
- Counseling, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures and federal and state employment and labor laws.
- Ability to identify issues.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership and team members to identify opportunities to improve or enhance the work environment.
- Help business leaders identify effective solutions for addressing corrective action and conflict resolution.
- Participate in development and administration of HR policies, procedures, and tools to support business leaders with promoting positive employee relations.
- Investigate and/or address all aspects of employee grievances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a professional Labor Relations or Union environment.
- Experience with collective bargaining and grievance management.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
