Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
- Current Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Excellent judgment, communication, computer, troubleshooting, organization and prioritization skills a must.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of automated and manual tests
- Perform both STAT and routine testing in an accurate and timely manner
- Help meet quality control standards
- Troubleshoot instrument issues
- Utilize the Meditech lab information system for data entry and testing performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification (ASCP or NCA)
