Kubernetes Devops Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2-4 years (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI
DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP)
Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and related container orchestration platforms
Experience with cloud-native services in Azure environments
Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
Solid background in Linux system administration (especially RHEL)
Working knowledge of Git and modern version control workflows
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities

Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and related technologies
Architect and optimize highly available containerized systems for mission-critical applications
Collaborate with development and architecture teams to implement infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD solutions
Guide DevOps automation using GitLab, Jenkins, Helm, Docker/Podman, Ansible, and related tools
Support cloud-first modernization initiatives including AWS and Azure architectures
Re-architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure resiliency, performance, and security
Proactively troubleshoot container orchestration environments and provide expert-level incident support
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives that improve reliability, deployment velocity, and system health
Analyze technology gaps and drive continuous improvement across DevOps pipelines and infrastructure
