Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to sell technical products, with a clear understanding of the electrical distribution channel
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, content optimization, and online sales tactics
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing partnerships between manufacturers and distributors
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret digital sales data and market trends
- Available and willing to travel up to 50%
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to boost our online and in person presence on the distributor’s platform and showrooms
- Collaborate with the Distributor’s and Genlyte’s digital team to secure optimal product placements, ensuring our product listings are featured prominently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at the electrical distribution channel
- Monitor online performance metrics and analyze competitor positioning on the platform
- Use data-driven insights align with Genlyte teams to create marketing campaigns and targeted product offerings
- Provide regular feedback to leadership regarding customer trends and competitive intelligence
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop campaigns that drive traffic and generate qualified leads
- Engage in continuous training and development sessions to stay current on best practices in ecommerce, digital sales, and the lighting industry.
