Requirements
- Enrolled full-time as a Freshman or Sophomore in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in a foreign language strongly preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy of information
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn other programs
Responsibilities
- Participate in managing engineering design projects which includes assisting in the design, development, and validation process with lead engineer
- Assist with engineering calculations related to the design of automotive drive train components
- Manages time to accomplish results including project planning, cost and timing details
- Obtains knowledge of department and its operations
- Other tasks as assigned
