Juvenile Parole/Probation Assistant

Eighteen months experience in a social service, rehabilitative, or correctional program with primary responsibility for guiding individuals or groups in the solution of occupational, educational, personal or social problems; OR
An Associates Degree in Criminal Science, Criminal Justice, the Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or a related field

Transport youth to and from facilities, court appearances, appointments, and community programs—ensuring safety, documentation, and adherence to OYA transport procedures.
Support case management by assisting with assessments, documentation, and follow-ups to help Juvenile Parole/Probation Officers implement individualized reformation plans.
Monitor youth progress in educational, vocational, treatment, and community settings—offering guidance and reinforcing positive behavioral change.
Collaborate with families and partners to coordinate services, arrange transitional visits, and maintain community connections that support each youth’s success.
Promote a safe and inclusive environment by using a developmental approach, applying cultural humility, and participating in DEI-related training and practices.
