Requirements

  • AWS Associate-level certification required (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified Developer – Associate)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or related fields, with a focus on AWS technologies
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation
  • Strong understanding of AWS security, networking, and best practices
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
  • Experience implementing cost-effective, FinOps-aligned cloud solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality results under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to technical teams
  • Strong technical documentation skills for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of tools for provisioning, monitoring, auditing, and de-provisioning cloud infrastructure using automation tools
  • Work closely with solution architects and engineers to implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions
  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like Jenkins and GitLab Runners
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Support the configuration and automation of cloud environments using tools like Ansible
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for cloud-based applications in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Identify and implement cloud cost optimization strategies, incorporating FinOps principles where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Professional or Specialty certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices is a plus
