Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is a minimum requirement.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to support the management of complex projects and timelines within secure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to security regulations.
- Familiarity with program management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project scheduling software and tools.
- Knowledge of flight test operations or aerospace engineering principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with security regulations and handling classified information is essential.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Lead and Flight Test Engineering team in the overall management of flight test programs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of integrated program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Track program progress, identify potential risks and issues, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, including engineering, flight operations, and logistics, while adhering to security protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of program status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the appropriate classification of information.
- Manage program documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper security classification.
- Support the development and implementation of program management processes and procedures, with a focus on security compliance.
- Assist in the coordination of program meetings, reviews, and action item tracking, within secure facilities as needed.
- Work closely with procurement and contracts teams to support the acquisition of necessary resources, adhering to security regulations.
- Contribute to the identification and pursuit of opportunities for program improvement and efficiency, while maintaining strict security protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of flight test operations or aerospace engineering principles is a plus.
