Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Or HS diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, self-supervisory, and results oriented.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
  • Interact with users.
  • Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
  • Coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
  • Ensure workstation data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration/library of all supporting documentation.
  • Process DD2875s.
  • Setting up user and service accounts.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Install system wide software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in TOAP Web, TMIS, Teamcenter systems.
  • General experience with DoD networks.
