Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience: Demonstrated expertise in U.S. Air Force, Army, or Marine Corps combat arms specialties.
- 10+ years in Joint Air-Ground operations: A deep, operational background in integrated air and ground tactics.
- Active TOP SECRET SCI clearance: A prerequisite for operating at the highest levels of national security.
- Professional military education: Graduation from an intermediate or senior-level professional military education program is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge TTPs: Pioneer enhancements for the Joint Air Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC) to elevate operational effectiveness.
- Modernize key operations: Spearhead the evolution of the Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) to meet emerging challenges head-on.
- Enhance interoperability: Forge seamless collaboration between Combat Air Force and Special Operations Forces, ensuring unified, synchronized missions.
- Analyze and integrate lessons learned: Delve into operational experiences from joint exercises and real-world scenarios to fine-tune tactical approaches.
- Evaluate emerging technologies: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and integrating technologies that enhance operational performance.
- Shape doctrine and policy: Contribute to the development and refinement of Joint and service-specific doctrines, ensuring they reflect modern operational realities.
- Serve as a bridge: Act as the crucial liaison between Air Force and Army units, fostering clear communication and effective cross-domain coordination.
- Drive integration initiatives: Support the harmonization of Joint C2 and Mission Command systems, ensuring interoperability across all echelons.
- Conduct capability gap analyses: Inform acquisition strategies with targeted analyses that pinpoint and resolve current and future operational needs.
- Champion coalition efforts: Enhance multinational and coalition interoperability, strengthening combined operational effectiveness.
- Support risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in air-ground operations to secure mission success.
- Participate in key reviews and assessments: Provide critical insights during after-action reviews, training exercises, and operational assessments that inform senior leadership decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- JPME Phase II or Joint Qualified Officer: Completion of advanced military education or equivalent designation.
- Experience on Joint or Combined Command staffs: Prior roles in Joint, Combined, or Combatant Command environments will be a significant advantage.
