JAVA Software Developer – Junior Level

Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or other related discipline
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Ability to work well within a small team environment
Strong communication skills
US Citizenship
DOD Secret Clearance is required.

Writes and maintains source code
Creates, maintains software applications and applies frameworks involved in a software release
Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, bug fixing
Expertise in Java, JavaScript programming languages is required
Develops, modifies computer applications software or specialized utility programs
Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions
Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories, concepts
Applies computer science principles, engineering techniques, mathematical analysis
Applies concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
Performs work that requires practical experience and training
Work is performed under supervision
