Requirements
- Recent or soon-to-be graduate from a Computer Science or related field with Co-Op experience
- Course work or work experience with Java
Responsibilities
- Implement a data analytics engine and application with a Hadoop software stack
- Refine the requirements for the application in conjunction with product management
- Research different implementation options and present viable options to architects and product management staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Course work or work experience with Hadoop (Map Reduce, HDFS, HBase)
- Course work or work experience with Spark framework
- Course work or work experience with text processing using Solr or Lucene
- Course work or work experience with Agile development methodologies
- Course work or work experience with test driven development
- Course work or work experience with continuous integration systems
- Course work or work experience with service oriented architecture
- Course work or work experience with web services technology such as REST, JSON, or Thrift
