Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field.
- Required background in Systems Engineering
- Proven experience as a technical writer in an IT or cloud-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with cloud-native services, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft 365 Products and diagramming tools like Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud Architects to document cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including design documents, runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
- Translate complex cloud concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Participate in cloud governance and architecture review meetings to capture decisions and action items.
- Maintain version control and documentation repositories (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, GitLab).
- Assist in the creation of training materials and onboarding guides for cloud services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or supporting a Cloud Center of Excellence or enterprise architecture team.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and operational monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
