Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field.
  • Required background in Systems Engineering
  • Proven experience as a technical writer in an IT or cloud-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native services, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft 365 Products and diagramming tools like Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud Architects to document cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including design documents, runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
  • Translate complex cloud concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in cloud governance and architecture review meetings to capture decisions and action items.
  • Maintain version control and documentation repositories (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, GitLab).
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and onboarding guides for cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or supporting a Cloud Center of Excellence or enterprise architecture team.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and operational monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
