Requirements
- Must hold a current Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible
- A BS/BA in Science, Technology, or Engineering and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience, AS/AA and 14+ years of experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions
- Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 operational support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix tasks, and hands-on technical labor.
- Analyze system architectures, operational requirements, and infrastructure components to deploy and maintain engineered solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams and Government stakeholders to refine system requirements, ensuring reliability, resiliency, and availability.
- Monitor and analyze capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to optimize infrastructure utilization and prevent operational issues.
- Perform scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades in coordination with service interruption schedules.
- Work with technical writers to develop and maintain knowledge base artifacts, SOPs, and documentation to support operations.
- Drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) efforts, researching and evaluating emerging technologies for integration.
- Utilize Lab facilities for incident investigation, resolution, feasibility testing, and validation of new technologies.
- Develop test cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing, ensuring complete validation before deployment.
- Support Blue/Green fielding by managing the transition of engineered solutions from development through acceptance testing.
- Coordinate with Tier 3 Engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting and break/fix services.
- Oversee patch management for workstations, servers, and other designated infrastructure across all security domains.
- Provide strategic guidance and support for Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) implementation.
- Contribute to required documentation, reports, and data to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM systems
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
