Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
- Five to ten years of IT experience including experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Must be organized, thorough, self-motivated and inspire their staff to exhibit the same.
- Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with team as well as non-technical users.
- Must live in a commutable distance to our South Portland, Maine office and be able to travel independently to branches throughout Southern Maine as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and oversight for the IT department staff.
- Responsible for the overall management of TruChoice’s hardware, networks, servers, and communication links, also cyber security.
- Participates in the general management of TruChoice to identify, recommend and implement plans regarding technology or security solutions, future technology needs.
- Exhibits extensive subject matter expertise in applicable regulations, laws, industry standards, department work and purpose.
- Works closely with managers to identify, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions; participates in strategic planning regarding future technology.
- Manages successful external relationships with vendors, community, SEGs, trade associations, etc.
- Develops, proposes, and coordinates training and support to staff on information systems, policies, procedures and strategies.
