Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or other related Business or Technology related degree.
- 0-2 years of Information Technology (IT), IT Audit, Compliance or Risk and Advisory Experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a Staff Auditor to perform information technology (IT) audits on MPC’s and MPLX’s business activities in accordance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and enterprise methodology to identify technology risks, evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of areas such as infrastructure, enterprise business applications, cybersecurity, 3rd party IT support and internal controls that may have an impact on the integrity of the control environment, integrity of company and/or financial information/data, or achievement of business objectives.
- Conduct simple testing of applications, operating systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with the audit process/steps prescribed by management.
- Participate in advisory reviews and may help to develop advisory recommendations.
- Begin to build relationships within the IT organization and promote internal controls and control awareness throughout the corporation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AGILE concepts
- Experience/Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Azure or other Cloud technologies, SAP, Cyber Security or Operational Technology (OT)
- Continuous Improvement Mindset
