Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the lifecycle of information technology (IT) assets within an organization through tracking, monitoring, and optimizing the use of IT assets to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency
• Creates and maintains an accurate inventory of all information technology assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and related documentation
• Coordinates the deployment of assets, ensuring proper configuration, installation, and integration into the existing information technology infrastructure
• Ensures assets are properly maintained, upgraded, and retired in accordance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Monitors software licenses and ensures compliance with licensing agreements while tracking license usage, conducting audits, and managing license renewals and software upgrades to prevent unauthorized use and mitigate compliance risks
• Analyzes asset utilization and performance to identify opportunities for optimization
• Manages contracts and agreements related to information technology assets, including maintenance contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor relationships
• Assesses vulnerabilities, implements security controls, and ensures adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintains comprehensive and up-to-date documentation related to information technology assets, including configuration details, license agreements, warranties, and maintenance records

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
