Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Experience working with Real-time Settlement, Reconciliation, Dispute management, Reporting and SOAP/REST API
- Utilizing Architecture disciplines including Architecture of Interoperable Information Systems, Data Extraction transformation and loading, Data Architecture, Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Experience working with AWS, Google, and Azure Cloud solutions
- Experience with products including Connex Management System, Settlement Manager, DataNavigator, ChargeBack, and Dispute Resolution Center
- Implementing solutions design and requirements definition disciplines by leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques
- Utilizing EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) processing platforms
Responsibilities
- Document and publish appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks
- Define, construct, support and provide training for enterprise frameworks
- Define and maintain a library of functional component models within and across FIS product lines
- Document functional product solutions for key FIS product strategy and product management initiatives leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap
- Document functional product solutions for key FIS financial services sales opportunities leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap
- Maintain a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across applications and product lines
- Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements
- Act as tie breaker on design decisions
- Document and communicate opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption
- Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences
