IT Administrator – Infrastructure & Security

Requirements

• Computer system administration for Mac OS, Windows, and Linux.
• Google workspace administration
• Experience with RMM platform (e.g., NinjaOne) and endpoint protection (e.g., SentinelOne)
• Networking knowledge: network setup, VPN, and router configuration.
• Cybersecurity, data security, and penetration testing. Experience implementing security best practices.
• Experience leading SOC2, ISO27001 implementation and ongoing compliance certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance efforts, including preparing for audits, maintaining evidence, and addressing gaps.
• Implement, monitor, and improve cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
• Manage third-party risk assessments and ensure vendor compliance with security requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable frameworks.
• Administer and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, cloud environments, and mobile devices (ranging from MacOS, Ubuntu Linux, to Windows).
• Manage identity and access control systems (e.g., SSO, MFA) to ensure secure user access.
• Oversee software updates, patch management, and system configurations to minimize vulnerabilities. Familiarity with RMM and MDM systems preferred (e.g., NinjaOne, Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager).
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Administer and monitor endpoint protection (experience with SentinelOne preferred).
• Design, implement, and maintain networking solutions, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Monitor network performance and implement strategies to improve reliability and scalability.
• Ensure secure data transmission through encryption and secure protocols.
• Respond to and resolve network outages and other IT incidents.
• Maintain thorough documentation of IT processes, systems, and compliance measures.
• Train employees on cybersecurity best practices and ensure ongoing awareness of security protocols.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with RMM and MDM systems preferred (e.g., NinjaOne, Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager).
• Experience with SentinelOne preferred.
