Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist program
- ARRT – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
- RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- RCES-Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist – Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- 8 years recent relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures
- Produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment, and using clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Deliver accurate results in a timely manner
- Gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
- Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care
- Perform specific procedures and/or teaching duties
