Requirements
- Experience in insurance asset allocation, investment analysis, or a related field within an asset management firm, insurance company, investment bank, or consulting firm.
- Basic understanding of US and global capital markets, public and private fixed income instruments, insurance regulations, and investment accounting.
- Strong passion for capital markets and solving complex problems
- High level of technical skills; (Python, R, Excel, Power BI)
- Understanding of insurance company regulations across various regimes; statutory and GAAP insurance investment accounting, and risk management framework
- Client focused with history of developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Ability and willingness to design, implement, and utilize systematic quantitative tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Detail-oriented, service-oriented and self-directed

- Bachelor’s degree. MBA and/or CFA/FSA a plus
Responsibilities
- Aid in enhancing and streamlining the cross-sector optimization process.
- Take ownership of the relative value framework, which includes the maintenance and innovation of relative value tools, as well as leading meetings where the portfolio management team discusses and debates cross-sector relative value.
- Develop and maintain tools to track and analyze insurance client portfolio strategies.
- Assist in conducting analysis for thought leadership pieces.
- Support in developing and analyzing liability-driven investment solutions for insurance clients. Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to meet client objectives.
- Support portfolio managers in ad hoc client requests, including commentaries on markets, portfolio strategies, and risk exposures.
