Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in investment management, asset allocation, or financial analysis.
- CFA designation highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of institutional investment principles and a range of asset classes. Generalist experience preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and investment databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated with goal of adding value to investment decision making process.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of investment strategies across asset classes.
- Assist the due diligence process on prospective investments, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Monitor existing investments, track performance, and report on manager and asset class-level developments.
- Assist in preparing materials for the Investment Committee.
- Perform macroeconomic and thematic research to support asset allocation and investment decision-making as directed.
- Build and maintain financial models and analytical tools to evaluate portfolio exposures, liquidity, and risk metrics.
- Collaborate with the Investment Team and other departments such as finance and legal to ensure operational alignment. Must be willing to support cross-functional areas within the Institute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
- CFA designation highly preferred.
