Responsibilities
- Assist underwriters in reviewing title insurance policies for commercial real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research on property laws, endorsements, and policy coverages
- Help examine public records, liens, and encumbrances to ensure clear property titles
- Work with attorneys, escrow officers, and sales teams to address underwriting questions
- Organize and maintain title documents, policy coverages, and transaction records
- Gain exposure to real estate law, compliance, and risk assessment in underwriting
