Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, JD, or MST preferred).
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in international tax, ideally within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
- Global Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically to address complex tax challenges.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners across diverse regions and cultures.
- Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and can remain focused on delivering high-quality results, even in high-pressure situations.
- Systems and Software: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite; experience with SAP S4 Hana, OneSource Income Tax, and OneSource Tax Provision is a plus.
- Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex tax issues in an easily understandable manner.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify opportunities for international tax planning to support business growth, global expansion, and operational restructuring.
- Coach and mentor staff.
- Lead or participate in global tax audits and inquiries with tax authorities, handling complex situations with poise.
- Apply tax acumen in managing M&A activities, including due diligence, structuring, and post-merger integration.
- Collaborate with the Tax Operations Director to provide expert guidance on cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and global operations, ensuring tax efficiency across the board.
- Manage third-party advisors to ensure full compliance with US (CbCR, 5471s, 8858s, 8865s) and global international filings, including transfer pricing documentation.
- Stay ahead of global tax law changes, including initiatives like Pillar 2, and adapt strategies to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with regional leaders, business teams, and external advisors to provide tax insights and drive strategic decisions across the organization.
