Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in internal communications
- Very strong oral and written communications skills
- A keen attention to detail, especially in digital and printed materials (i.e., newsletter templates, event invitations, PowerPoint slides, etc.)
- Familiarity with best-in-class employee communications tools (i.e., StaffBase, WordPress)
- An ability to operate as the ultimate champion for Blackstone’s brand standards and professional culture of excellence
- Exceptional judgement as it pertains to employee communications matters, especially in uncertain market / geopolitical conditions
- Able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
- Well organized, self-starter with the ability to work independently within the firm’s fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other senior level employees and outside contacts
Responsibilities
- Partnering closely with key stakeholders across the firm to build and execute on a global internal communications strategy, across multiple channels
- Guiding editorial strategy and content development for firmwide intranet, ensuring that articles and announcements recognize Blackstone employees and inform colleagues about business goals and progress
- Owning compilation of recurring firmwide newsletters (i.e., daily news clips and quarterly earnings)
- Amplifying and celebrating firm milestones
- Collaborating with the Blackstone Charitable Foundation to drive engagement in service and fundraising activities, core to the company culture of giving back
- Partnering with internal stakeholders including HR, Legal & Compliance, and BXTI to communicate important employee information and campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of financial services is preferred
