Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • 0–2 years of professional experience, with a demonstrated interest in internal communications through internships, coursework, or extracurricular involvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of audience and tone
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience designing digital assets using Canva or similar tools; familiarity with basic video editing is a plus
  • Comfort using collaboration tools like Slack and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • An ability to multitask, juggling multiple responsibilities across different projects and timelines
  • Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping and publishing engaging, employee-centered stories and internal content—such as newsletters and intranet articles—that foster connection, clarity and alignment while spotlighting our people, priorities and culture
  • Lead in posting digital office signs
  • Support with logistics and content preparation for internal events such as All-Hands meetings
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather content, support campaigns and amplify key business priorities
  • Help maintain team resources, including shared drives, internal editorial calendars and email distribution lists
  • Pull data for all internal communication metrics reports
  • Design and edit graphics in Canva
  • Stay informed on emerging AI tools and support testing or adoption of AI-driven solutions that enhance internal communications
  • Provide administrative support to the team VPs and the Communications team as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or work experience in communications strongly preferred
