Requirements
- Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program with a major in Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, or Accounting with an emphasis in Internal Audit
- General PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with major industry frameworks (IIA IPPF, Cobit, NIST 800, ITIL, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Assist the department in identifying and evaluating risk through assigned projects
- Execute work programs to determine the effectiveness of IT General Controls
- Report results to leaders throughout the company
- Collect and analyze data and information effectively
- Prepare and maintain audit work papers pertinent to the audit’s scope and objectives
- Comprehend the meaning of test results as they relate to internal control strengths and weaknesses
- Adapt to and use technology to improve the effectiveness of assignments, increase efficiencies, and quickly complete work objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with auditing systems is a plus
- Experience with data analytics/data visualization is a plus
- Ability to communicate in a tactful and courteous manner
