Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for the duration of the program (12 weeks)
- Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production floor
- Working on your assigned projects
- Documenting and reviewing processes (work instructions, etc.)
- Participating in brainstorming sessions for product/testing improvements
- Shadowing experienced engineers to learn about different aspects of manufacturing and/or help as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong academic background with coursework in chemical engineering, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience working in a laboratory chemical environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Can handle multiple shifting demands with professionalism and sound judgement
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
