Requirements
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree
- Curious and driven to learn about the payments and financial technology industries as well as the WEX business and U.S. Small Business market
- Willing to locate to the Portland, Maine area for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the SB customer base and business model by rotating through key initiatives in our Acquisition and Customer organizations
- Learn the ins-and-outs of digital acquisition, customer activation, and retention strategies
- Assist with competitive analysis and benchmarking
- Provide support for the business capital planning and investment process in partnership with our product and technology teams
- Take a hands-on approach to helping the leadership team craft the strategic roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding or experience with payments, software or finance is a plus but not required
