Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Technical Writing, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure).
  • Skills in SQL, programming (Python preferred), and tools like PowerBI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in collaboration tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate various data sources into cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Azure) via APIs.
  • Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to transform and prepare data for reporting and analytics.
  • Assist in building Power BI dashboards to visualize key cybersecurity metrics.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive data tasks.
  • Assist in creating and editing technical documents, including policies, best practices, and presentations.
  • Assist to develop content for information security forums, dashboards, and newsletters.
  • Maintain and manage SharePoint sites for organized and accessible documentation.
  • Design engaging security awareness materials like newsletters, decks, and videos.
  • Assist in delivering role-specific security training sessions.
  • Help maintain and update training materials and troubleshoot user issues with training platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with security training tools (e.g., KnowBe4, ProofPoint).
  • Interest in creating visually engaging technical content.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting and reporting cybersecurity metrics.
