Intern – Commercial Auto Accounting

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a college program
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills/aptitude
• Exposure to basic accounting principles

Responsibilities

• Rotate within each sub-area of accounting to include treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting to shadow a member of each team and gain exposure to each function
• Create a calendar of material cash inflows/outflows for the year
• Assist the team with paperless initiative, which includes logging mail and resolutions electronically
• Assist with building and testing of Workday reports
• Collaborate with team members to complete deliverables
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas
• Participate in additional projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior insurance knowledge not required
