Requirements
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- P.Eng designation obtained or will be obtained soon
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Bridge Inspection experience OSIM
- Knowledge of structural analysis software
- Familiar with Bentley’s MicroStation
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site inspection, analysis and condition assessment of existing structures
- Perform construction and life cycle cost estimate
- Assist with planning and schematic/geometric layout of new structures
- Perform analysis and design calculations according to the applicable design codes; use computer programs as appropriate
- Prepare plan drawings and details
- Assist in preparation of construction specifications
- Perform material quantity take-offs
- Organize design calculations; and assist with project construction administration including reviews of shop drawings and requests for information
